Mission: Caldera's Library



Ch. 5


Otus' and Caldera's battle continued for another hour.
And both were running out of moves to use.


Caldera could only use Flame Burst at this point, while Otus could only use Will-o-Wisp and his secret move.
"Give up, we are both useless now, I give you the option to die under me."
"Never." Otus spat.

Caldera shot one more Flame Burst at him.
He was burnt, he felt is body crumble. But Otus sputtered on last word. "Grudge."
Caldera replied in shock, "What did you just say?"
Otus was going to answer, but fainted and slowly fell to the ground.

Suddenly, Caldera fell to the ground....
"Urk..."
He wasn't down for the count, but he was extremely exhausted.

Otus was falling, this was the end? No.

"YAHHHHHH!" A young sentret came by and jumped to his rescue!
"Slam!" Or not.
Otus got hit, and his body flew into the wall, and through the wall...because he's a ghost.

Outside the castle, Otus awoke slightly to see a Corsphish standing above him. When the Corphish noticed his presence, he picked him up and sent him away with a bubblebeam.

Otus slowly, and safely floated home. But why? Why did that random pokemon save him? Anyhow, he put that thought aside and slept.
